Location

Malaga Airport is the most southerly airport in Europe and is only 8 kilometres from the region's capital city and well connected with the whole of the Costa del Sol.
Malaga Airport is linked with the rest of the towns on the Costa del Sol via the E-15 and the N-340 motorways.

Transport to and from Malaga Airport

There ia a suburban train service from the airport to Malaga and Fuengirola . The cost to travel to Malaga is €1.10 Monday to Friday and €1.20 on Saturdays and holidays and the cost to travel to Fuengirola is €1.75 Monday to Friday and €1.85 on Saturdays and holidays.

Buses are inexpensive and there are two routes operating from outside the terminal building to Malaga and Marbella.
EMT operates the service to Malaga from Terminals 1 and 2 and Portillo operates the service to Marbella from both terminals.

Taxis are also available from outside the terminal buildings and there is a minimum charge of €1.30 and the typical daytime fares are €0.75 per kilometre. These rates increase during nightime and holidays.

Parking

Parking is available for approximately 900 cars at the airport and the rates are:
First half hour or less, €0.60; second half hour or less, €0.95; all or part of each additional hour, €1.55; daily maximum up to 4 days, €15.45; daily maximum from the fifth day, €12.35.
